The Bosque Lluvioso Ecotourism

The Bosque Lluvioso Río Costa Rica is based upon the idea that natural resource preservation and human prosperity should be complimentary and that education is the key. The Bosque is a model for responsible ecotourism, sustainable development and natural resource preservation for Costa Rica and the world. There are three reasons for this optimistic vision.

The ecotourism program will help generate on-site jobs, program-related employment and local services from the surrounding community. Through these activities the exploratory will communicate to the local community a clear sense of the economic value of the preserved status of the land.
